After I released my first Wordpress theme, FirstTheme, I told you that I was working on a new one.
I’m proud to present you SimplePerfect, my second Wordpress theme.
I put a lot of time and efforts in SimplePerfect and I can assure you that is more than a free Wordpress theme, it can be called free premium theme. Find out why!
Why this name?
I called it SimplePerfect because that’s what I had in mind while I was creating it: simplicity and perfection. I kept it simple while I tried to make it perfect. I know is impossible, but is possible to try to make it perfect … and I tried!
SimplePerfect Theme – Premium Features
1. Thumbnails with Auto-Resizing Script and NO Custom Fields. All you need to do is to write, you don’t need to work with Custom Fields. This theme have a script created for
Darren Hoyt* that automatically pulls out images from content and make them thumbnails.
*Darren gave me the permission to use the script.

2. Sidebar Tabs. The tabbed sidebar uses a nice jQuery featuring three tabs: Recent (Articles), Popular(Articles) & Comments(Recent).
3. Premium Footer. The footer contains two configurable areas:
- Subscription Buttons – Buttons that link to your RSS, Mail and Twitter accounts.
- About Us Area- A short description about you/your blog.
4. Theme Options Page. Like all premium themes SimplePerfect have a Theme Options Page where you can configure: the subscription links, the about us area and Analytics/Statistics code.

This is such a cool theme, and I’m trying to use it. One question – how do I change the logo? I’ve made another logo.png with my style… put it in the “images” folder… yet it does not register that logo. How do I change this?

Jul 24th, 2009I noticed in one of the screenshots each of the posts have a “More” button which I thought was the default behavior for the theme. Not so when I installed it. Each blog post is displayed fully on my site. How do I configure that feature? Thanks, and I love the theme by the way.

Aug 20th, 2009Adrian, your post says this theme is widget-ready but I’ve tried numerous ways to add a widget through the WP panel and when I do it overrides everything else in the sidebar. How do I add a widget and still keep the sidebar.php content in place? Thanks.

Then I try to use wget in command line, it works. so if you use linux or Mac(like me),you can download it with using the following command in terminal:
wget http://www.wpdone.com/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=2
Then it should works!
